4 An issue that is troubling some members of the church
Future ministers: Where are the ministers of the future going to come from? What does it take to be a church that encourages, identifies and trains future ministers? Who takes responsibility to encourage the development of future ministers as a priority? When and where does the church pray about this issue?
Discipleship training: How are we helping new believers to grow to maturity in Christ? What does a mature Christian look like (heart, head, hands)? How does a new believer get there? What teaching and training is required for everyone? What extra training is provided for some people, who are going to take on greater responsibilities? What are the particular challenges facing new believers, from all kinds of backgrounds, in Addis Ababa? How and where do we teach to help?
